Thank you for using the J.A. Campbell site. Please take the time to carefully read the information below which covers our terms and conditions, orders and returns, shipping and delivery, privacy and your security.
Our personal shopper staff are here to help you in any way possible to ensure your experience shopping with J. A. Campbell is both a pleasure and memorable.

> Our commitment promise to you- Complete satisfaction.
If you are not delighted with our service or silverware purchased please contact us and then simply return items in original condition including packaging within 14 days of purchase. We will offer either a full refund or replacement. (see below for returns on personalised items)
> Hand blown crystal.
All our collections use high quality hand blown English Crystal. Each blown by highly skilled craftsman. All handmade crystal contains some ‘birthmark of creation’ these are small and unique bubbles encapsulated in the blown glass which signature each piece uniquely handmade.
> Personalised items returns.
This covers non standard modifications or addition to stocked items i.e. engraving and bespoke work. In these circumstances please contact J.A. Campbell before sending item back.
> Contract for sale.
Products are offered on an 'invitation to treat'. Orders are contractual once you receive a 'confirmation of order'.
These terms and conditions can only be changed by J.A. Campbell partners in writing and no other representative.
> Receipt of order.
At present we can only accept orders for items that are in stock. Once your credit card has been authorized you will receive an email receipt confirming your order. Please keep this for your records.
> Returns- damaged, defect or incorrect order.
In this unlikely situation, please inform us within 3 working days. To return an item purchased online, contact us at 01277 217829 or info@jacampbell.co.uk, or fax on 01277 849563
We will need to talk to the person who purchased the item. They will also need to have their credit card details with them used on the original purchase. If you e-mail us then please leave a phone number.
Our customer order consultant will provide an authorization returns number. Please include this authorization number with the returned item in original gift box, stating the name of the purchaser and the contact number to J.A.Campbell, Customer Returns Dept, Great Ropers Business Centre, Great Ropers Lane, Warley, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 3JW. England. We will effect the transaction quickly if all the information above is received.
> Cancellations & Exchanges.
Please contact us as quickly as possible for cancellations. The majority of our orders are dispatched within 24 hours as a result it may not be possible to stop an order. In this event please follow the above returns procedure. We however will do our utmost to meet your request.
If you are not satisfied with any product for any reason, simply return within 14 days in the original condition in presentation box, for a refund or replacement.
> Prices and Descriptions.
All sizes and weights given are averages as each item is individually hand made by our craftsman. Therefore slight variations may occur between the items shown and those ordered. All prices for delivery for EU countries and the U.K have VAT included at 17.5 %.

> Safety & Security.
We accept: VISA and MasterCard Eurocard, Switch, Delta, Visa Electron, Laser, Solo and JCB. J.A. Campbell use WorldPay Payment Solutions, all communication between the shopper and WorldPay is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the shopper's browser using TLS or SSL (security). Our public web servers are certified by Thwate, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that shoppers and retailers alike can have confidence that nobody can impersonate WorldPay to obtain confidential information.

Delivery Details
Delivery Companies-Fast and reliable international delivery is provided by U.P.S or via Parcel Force Delivery.
> Delivery Times.
Our policy is to deliver items within 3 business days within the UK, to Europe within 5 days and to the US within 10 days.
We can only deliver goods to the address specified on your order. If items you have ordered do not arrive within the above timeframe please contact us - email info@jacampbell.co.uk phone 01277 217829.
> Delivery Charges.
For simplicity one fixed delivery cost is charged on each package sent. Multiple packages will incur multiple charges to that region/country.
Delivery to mainland U.K. is free. A nominal delivery charge of £10 will be made on each package delivered within Europe, for USA and Canada - £15. Delivery outside these countries will be quoted on a country by country basis. Multiple orders in some instances where your order involves more than one package, parcels may arrive on separate days due to delivery logistics out of our control. We will do our utmost to prevent this, however if this occurs please be assured that the balance will arrive within a couple of days. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience this may have caused. J.A. Campbell shall not be liable to you for any failure to deliver items you have ordered or any delay caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
> Duty Charges- EU countries, USA, CANADA.
All EU deliveries will incur the British V.AT on orders. You may be able to obtain a tax refund if this is subsequently re exported to a non E. U. Country, you should discuss this with your shipping agent. For USA & Canada. J.A. Campbell will settle duty charges within these two countries. (If duty rates change we reserve the right to change our prices without notice.)
> Exemptions from United Kingdom value added tax (VAT)
Items being sent to Non EU countries (including Channel Islands) are VAT exempt, this means you will not be charged the 17.5% British V.A.T tax on items dispatched to you. However there may be importation tax levied in your particular delivery destination, please see below for details. However you may be able to claim back VAT if the items are subsequently exported, ask your shipping agents for details.
> Duties outside above specified countries-EU, USA and Canada
You may have to pay extra duties. Import restrictions may also occur in some countries causing delays or preventing delivery. Our office will contact you on orders outside the above countries/region above.
> Customer responsibility.
J.A. Campbell is not able to guarantee that the sale & delivery of its goods to your particular country is permissible. To save disappointment please check if there are import restrictions. J.A. Campbell contractual obligation to supply will be void if by doing so contravenes local, regional or national legislation.
> Privacy/Data protection.
Your privacy is important to us, any information collected by J.A. Campbell as a customer or visitor is exclusively used by J.A. Campbell. We do not exchange your personal information to third parties. Any personal data gathered by us in your use of this site will be recorded electronically and only used in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.
> Email usage.
We may contact you by email concerning your order details or from time to time contact you on our new collections or offers. We will not pass your details on to third parties.
> Disclaimer.
J.A. Campbell reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. We are also not liable for any damages associated with use of this site however caused, incorrect prices or information.
> Legal Governance.
Your use of this site and any contract between you and J.A. Campbell for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
